Such an interesting piece, using ‘unfinished’ looks throughout the dress makes it vastly different. Love the use of different techniques, pleating small and large contrasting with the half black skirt in a light material compared to the woollen brown largely pleated skirt. The unfinished sleeve on one side is also a great characteristic. The bag ties the entire outfit together colour whys, connection the pinks to the skirt, why the extended brown woollen skirt extends itself onto the shirt making all the colours work. Overall an amazing dress and piece.

Money. Is everything. Its how the world functions. to people money can make you the happiest person alive or it can make you the saddest. each day life revolves around money, how much you can spend, places you can go to the amount of money you have, the list goes on of things that happen in day to day life that revolves around money. people forget the significance in life and the more important things. people become selfish and immoral for money, forgetting things like family, friendship and love. because in the end they are the things that stick, money doesn’t, it comes and goes and in the end even if you are fortunate to be above normal wealth, will that truly make you happy? would materialistic objects honestly in the end over rule emotions and feelings? i personally don’t think so….. just a thought.

Linn Olofsdotter- incorporates a lot of animals throughout her work, which she blends in throughout a piece. She is a very quirky illustrator, such as her faces being distorted and the ideal beautiful woman, to a dress being an image of pants… She defiantly thinks out side of the square in her illustrations.

Sandra Suy- Such a soft feminin illustration. Her works inspire me throughout my fashion major in university. I love the way she accomplishes a finished piece of work without everything being the same and almost ‘un-finished.’
Beautiful piece.
